The Plaza Grande in Quito is absolutely fabulous, the Royal Palm in the Galapagos is the best hotel we ever stayed in; the chef is outstanding, his meals are some of the best we ever had. Did you know that Prince Charles stayed there when he visited the islands? We are sure that the service we received was just as good as his. We had a marvelous time in the Galapagos and it was living a dream.

6 Days/5 NightsMilan - Brescia - Franciacorya
Meet with your tour leader at Milan Central Railway Station in front of the Hotel Excelsior Gallia (Piazza Duca d'Aosta 9) on the left side of Milan Central Railway Station. Depart by coach to Lake Garda. Visit the small village of Sirmione with important Roman and medieval ruins. Next stop, a boat cruise along the lake, arriving in Gardone Riviera.
Free time on your own in this pretty town for lunch and optional visit of the Heller Botanic Garden, a collection of flora from around the world.
In the afternoon return to Desenzano or Sirmione by ferry. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Monday: Brescia - Iseo Lake - Franciacorya - Maggiore Lake (Breakfast & dinner)
After breakfast, departure to Lake Iseo. Enjoy a boat trip to the three islands including Monte Isola, the greatest lake-island in Europe. Free time for lunch on your own.
Afternoon visit of a local wine cellar with tasting of the famous "Franciacorta" wine. Transfer to Lake Maggiore. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 Tuesday: Maggiore Lake (Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
After breakfast enjoy a full day tour visiting the beautiful Villa Taranto in Pallanza where you will find a real explosion of flowers, colours and scents.
Then it is off to the magnificent Borromean Islands with two splendid palaces and their gardens. Famous throughout the world, these gardens are known for the quality of the landscape, the care and the variety of plant architectures, which consists of over 2000 varieties of different species. Lunch in a typical restaurant on Pescatori's Island. Free time. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 Wednesay: Orta Lake - Lake Como (Breakfast & dinner)
After breakfast, morning departure to Lake Orta. Transfer by boat and visit the pretty St Giulio's Island. Free time for lunch on your own in Orta.
Early afternoon departure for Lake Como, arriving in Tremezzo. Visit Villa Carlotta, famous for its art collections and for its botanical garden. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 Thursday: Lake Como / Bellagio (Breakfast & dinner)
After breakfast, transfer by ferry to Lenno and visit the marvellous Villa Balbianello, a spectacular peninsula located on the western shore of Lake Como.
Transfer by ferry to Bellagio where you will have free time for lunch on your own. Return to the hotel by ferry. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 Friday: Lake Como (Breakfast)
After breakfast, transfers to Milan Rail Station or Malpensa airport.
