Day 1 and Day 2 - Royal Livingstone, Victoria Falls (B)
After your arrival at the Victoria Falls Airport, you will be transferred into Zambia and to your luxurious 5-star Royal Livingstone Hotel situated along the mighty Zambezi River. Nestled amongst lush, indigenous vegetation, the hotel awards a breathtaking view onto the thundering and mystical mists of the Victoria Falls, the longest falling curtain of water on earth. Enjoy a guided visit to the falls and wander through the lush rain forests that are maintained by the constant spray plume from the falls. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the compelling Zambezi River while having a luxurious outdoor body massage, relax on a serene sundowner cruise, explore the area by mokoro, be transported through this soulful landscape on elephant back or experience the Victoria Falls by helicopter or airplane (optional activities). In the evenings be spoilt with 5-star meals.
Day 3 and Day 4 - Ntwala Island Lodge, Impalila Island (B)
After breakfast you are transferred to the most eastern point of the Caprivi Strip in Namibia. Your lodge is situated on the secluded Impalila island, surrounded on all sides by wild and powerful waterways. Intricate floating walkways link an untouched cluster of islands within the Mambova rapids, where white sands and palm trees add to the romance. Here the two mighty African Rivers, the Zambezi and Chobe converge, only 80km upstream from the Victoria Falls. These small islands offer exclusivity and isolation - a complete holistic African experience. Activities offered by your ultra luxurious lodge are predominantly water borne and privately guided. Meander the multiple waterways with your personal guide and private boat, indulging in a vast array of activities; mokoro the quiet backwaters, pursue the famed Tigerfish on fly or take in an exclusive Chobe sunset cruise whilst viewing Africa's big game.
Day 5 and Day 6 - Kwando Lagoon Camp, Okavango Delta (BLD)
After breakfast you are chauffeured to the anomaly panhandle of Namibia and to Lianshulu Lodge, situated along the realms of the pristine Kwando River. From here you are taken by boat into Botswana's Okavango Delta, the largest inland delta on earth. Your lodge lies on one of the shady banks of the Kwando River among tall and ancient African Ebony and Marula Trees and promises you an exceptional and unforgettable nature experience. The shady, treed environment of the camp hosts a great variety of different bird species, while the area is home to one of the most concentrated herds of elephant and buffalo on the African continent. The great variety of antelope species found in the vicinity of the lodge attract large predators such as lion, hyena, cheetah, leopard as well as wild dogs. Specialist guides in open safari vehicles conduct morning and night game drives, while you may also navigate the lush channels of the delta on a boat cruise.
Day 7 - Lianshulu Lodge, Mudumu National Park (BLD)
After breakfast you are transferred by boat back to Lianshulu. Situated in the Mudumu National Park and nestled beneath a canopy of ancient trees along the banks of the Kwando River, it combines exceptional accommodation with superb scenery and an array of interesting wildlife. Take in this serene environment from the comfort of your lodge; otherwise explore the Park and its natural magnificence from a motorized boat or open vehicle. The park consists of a lush wilderness of riverine forests, marsh and open woodlands that provide a home to an abundance of wildlife such as buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard and hippo. In the evening enjoy the tranquil surroundings around a campfire and fall asleep to the calm noise of the river combined with the soothing sound of nature.
Day 8 - Departure (B)
After breakfast you are transferred to the Victoria Falls Airport.
