10 Days / 9 NightsNairobi - Masai Mara Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park - Amboseli National Park

ITINERARY
Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve
At 8 o'clock you will be picked up from your Nairobi Hotel and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the great rift valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley where you will get to view the volcanic mountains which are semi- active like Mt longonot, Suswa and Margret for 10 mins. Thereafter, drive 2 hours to a town known as Narok where you will have lunch at a local restaurant and later have a late check in the afternoon at your camp. At 4.30pm commence on a 2hour evening game drive to look for the nocturnal hunters coming out from their day slumber to start their hunts alongside you will see zebras, antelopes among other wildlife. Capture the evening Sunset especially if the clouds are clear at 6pm. Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting at the lodge/camp.
Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve's western escarpment. It's regarded as the jewel of Kenya's wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeest's migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai mara is the wonder of the world. Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara Reserve
Spend the full day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. This day you will visit the mara river and get to see the hippos and Nile crocodiles. Thereafter a picnic lunch under a Croton tree overlooking the vast landscape of the park with animals grazing. Continue with game drives en route to your camp/lodge.
Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Masai village for a Masai cultural tour at USD20. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people.

OPTIONAL. A balloon safari at USD 500 per person can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebras from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna - lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
Early morning breakfast and thereafter check out and proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park where you expect to see the endangered species of the white rhino, Rothschild giraffe , flamingoes which if not many can also be seen in large volumes at Amboseli National park the next day.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park
Early morning breakfast at 6am, check out and drive to Amboseli national park using the Trans African highway. You will have a few stop overs for bathroom breaks since it's an 8 hour car ride and later Check in at Amboseli Serena Lodge, have lunch and a short rest. Afternoon game drives at 3.30pm in search of its popular residents the elephants and also if lucky get to see the predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park Full day
After breakfast at the camp, Full day spent in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, and Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park
Breakfast at the camp at 6.30am and thereafter depart and drive to Tsavo West National with game drive enroute arriving in time for lunch at Kilaguni Serena Lodge. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park.
Tsavo West through the shetani Lava flow with a brief stopover to marvel at the lava cones and the barren land. Proceed to enter Tsavo West through the Chyulu gate and drive on to the Mzima Springs to see hippo sanctuary hoping to see the endangered black rhino among other animals.
Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge

Day 7: Tsavo West to Diani
Early morning breakfast at 6am with a check out and do a game drive enroute out of the park and commence your journey to Diani with lunch on the way. Arrive Diani in the late afternoon.

Day 8 & 9: Full day relaxation
Spend these full days relaxing at the resort or at the beach or swimming pool.
Dinner and overnight at Baobab Beach Resort, on an all inclusive meal plan (breakfast, lunch. dinner, snacks, selected local alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic beverages and entertainment programmes by our animation team and excludes water sports, tennis lessons use of the spa, boutique and speciality restaurants)

Day 10: Depart to Nairobi
Breakfast at the resort and thereafter transfer to the airport for your flight back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.
