Day 1. Kilimanjaro International Airport - ArushaUpon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your private guide will welcome you and drive you to the Arusha Coffee Lodge.
This attractive small town is situated beneath the mountain peaks of Mt. Meru and Kilimanjaro. Arusha is famous as the safari capital of Tanzania with first-class restaurants, bars and markets to browse. Not-to-be-missed is the Arusha National Park (in Ngurdoto Crater), the National Natural History Museum, the Laetoli Footprints (set in volcanic ash, dating back 3 500 000 years) and the beautiful coffee plantations, which dot the landscape.

Day 2. Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park (All meals)After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara Tree Lodge.
Lake Manyara National Park in Tanzania offers a wilderness experience in diverse habitats, from the Great Rift Valley Lake to woodlands and steep mountainsides. Here, the Great Rift Valley is at its most impressive, with the escarpment dropping some 500 metres down to the lakeshore. The park is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions and the vast elephant herds it was established to protect. The shores of the lake teem with pink flamingo but also attract more than 400 species of birds. Large herds of buffalo, cheetah, Masai giraffe and impala roam the lake shores and the forested valley slopes. There are also troops of olive baboons and Sykes monkey. Spend one night at the Lake Manyara Tree Lodge in a tree house. Your stay includes accommodation, meals, game drives, laundry, soft drinks, house wines, and local brand spirits. Night game drives can be arranged at additional charge. Please note that the camp requires 24 hours' notice to offer night drives.
Days 3 - 4. Ngorongoro Crater (All meals)Today, you will make your way to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. The Ngorongoro Crater in Northern Tanzania was once a gigantic volcano and is the largest intact caldera in the world. Today, it is an extensive highland area with the famous 600 m deep Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. Nearly three million years old, the ancient caldera shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth. Endangered black rhino are protected within its rim, giant tusked elephants wander the forests, black-maned lions stalk the grasslands, and flamingos crowd the soda lakes. An estimated 25 000 large mammals are resident including a population of approximately 6 000 resident wildebeest, 16 highly endangered black rhino and around 70 lions. Cheetah move in and out of the Crater, while leopard are most often encountered in the spectacular Lerai Forest. Your lodge for two nights sits right on the edge of the Crater, offering unbeatable views.

Days 5 - 7. Serengeti under canvas (All meals)After two nights, enjoy your last breakfast before driven to the endless plains of the Serengeti for an exceptional stay at the Serengeti Under Canvas.
These luxurious tented camps move around the park year-round, attempting to anticipate the movements of the Great Migration and exploring the remote and beautiful corners of the Serengeti with excellent resident game. Using only private campsites, these mobile camps are entirely intimate and exclusive, featuring spacious safari tents, each with a double bed, indoor seating area, en-suite bathroom, separate w.c and al fresco bucket shower.
With custom-made Indian rugs, crisp linens, sparkling crystal and polished brass you will enjoy a luxurious stay under canvas. Carefully planned according to the projected movements of the Great Migration, the camps aim to bring guests within comfortable driving distance of the herds. However, the wildebeest masses move with the rains, which may occur at a different time each year, so it is not always possible to accurately predict where they will be. With expert guides they will always try to place guests in the midst of the thronging wildebeest but, should the animals not appear when expected, the guides' intimate knowledge of the ample resident game will ensure a rich game viewing experience.

Days 8 - 9. Serengeti National Park (All meals)Enjoy an early morning game drive and breakfast before making your way to Klein's Camp, situated on a private concession on the edge of the Serengeti National Park, where night drives and bush walks allow guests to explore the nocturnal world of the predators or to get an intimate glimpse into the details of the African bush. Overlooking the wooded hillsides, and rolling grasslands, Klein's Camp is one of the most strategically positioned wildlife sanctuaries in the world. Set on the edge of the Kuka Hills, it commands breath-taking views of the valley below, through which huge herds of wildebeest and zebra migrate each year. While the Great Migration is an annual highlight, guests can experience excellent year-round lion, leopard and cheetah sightings. Huge herds of buffalo and breeding herds of elephant are all resident and birdwatching in the seasonal marshlands is exceptionally rewarding. Several species of raptor breed on the cliffs above Klein's Camp and numerous birds of prey, including vultures and eagles, are frequently spotted soaring on the updrafts.

Days 10. Serengeti - Kilimanjaro International Airport (Breakfast)Today, after breakfast, we wave a fond farewell before driven to the airstrip where you will take a flight back to Kilimanjaro International Airport in time to board your flight home.
