Day 1. Venice (no meals today)
Arrival at Venice Airport. Meet and greet and transfer to the Palazzo Marcello Hotel Al Sole in Venice or similar. Free day at leisure.

Day 2. Venice - Zurich (Breakfast)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport in time for your Swiss International Air Lines flight LX1663 to Zurich. Transfer to the hotel.
3 star hotel, the Hotel Neufeld or similar with breakfast.
Day 3. Zurich (Breakfast)
After breakfast, enjoy a half day private tour, where you will visit the highlights of Zurich City, including the Lake area, university quarter and old part of town. Afterwards enjoy a short relaxing cruise on Lake Zurich. Your driver-guide will meet you again,and will continue to the recently opened Lindt Home of Chocolate museum with the most impressive chocolate fountain in the world. Visit the museum and some time for sweet chocolate shopping. Transfer back to your hotel in Zurich. Overnight stay in Zurich.
Day 4. Zurich - Interlaken - Grindelwald -Lauterbrunnen - Zurich (Breakfast)
After breakfast, you must make you own way to the Sihlquai Coach Terminal, close to Zurich's main train station (Zürich HB) where at 07.45AM you will greet your guide and climb aboard a comfortable coach destined for Grindelwald. Receive a fascinating introduction to the Bernese Oberland region as you travel through the beautiful countryside and then refresh with a hot beverage (not included) during a brief interlude in Interlaken. Travel onward to Grindelwald to board the gondola Eiger Express of the newly opened V-Cableway for a ride to the Eiger Glacier station, where you change for the cogwheel train headed to one of Europe's highest points. Marvel at dramatic mountain scenery during the ride up the UNESCO-listed Jungfraujoch mountain pass, and scour the horizon for the jagged peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. On arrival at the 11,332-foot (3,454-meter) summit, gaze at mind blowing views of the Alpine wonderland below, and then ascend to the Sphinx Observatory for even more magnificent panoramas. Try to spot the craggy peak of the Aletsch Glacier, Europe's longest glacier, and then explore the frozen tunnels of the Ice Palace during an enchanting guided tour. Opt to enjoy a fulfilling meal at one of the many rustic restaurants at the summit (not included) and then re-board the train for the journey to Lauterbrunnen, where your coach awaits. Relax during the journey back to Zurich, where the tour concludes. You must make your own way back to your hotel.

Day 6. Lucerne - Zurich - Venice - Chianti (Breakfast)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your Swiss International Air Lines flight LX1660 to Venice. Arrival to Venice. Transfer to Mestre train station for the 2nd class train to Florence + transfer from Florence train station to hotel in Chianti Area. Accommodation at the Castello Vicchiomaggio for two nights with breakfast. City tax NOT included: 2,00 € per person per night.

Throughout time, the Basilica has become a symbol of the city, with its Byzantine style cupolas, golden mosaics, and priceless bronze and golden horses from Constantinople.
Your guide will then proceed to Campo SS. Giovanni e Paolo, the "Pantheon" of Venice, the Great School of Charity, and other places of interest such as Marco Polo's House, where you can see the roots of the great traveler and writer.
