Day 1: Dubai (D)
Arrival to Dubai, reception and priority clearance at the airport before transport by Rolls Royce to your hotel, the 7 star Burj Al Arab Jumeirah Hotel. This incredible hotel has the architectural design of a giant sail and is located in the Dubai harbor; it is one of the world's most glamorous properties. After check in, time for some relaxation. In the early evening, before sunset, pick up in your private Hummer Jeep and drive into the Dubai desert for an introductory desert dune safari. Enjoy a superb dinner and dance show in the desert before returning to your hotel.
Day 2: Dubai (B & D)
After breakfast, pick up in your luxury car and drive you to the magnificent Jumeirah mosque. The Jumeirah Mosque is a dominant landmark of Dubai city and is built in the medieval Fatimid tradition. This stone structure is a tribute to modern Islamic architecture. Continue the journey towards the Nad Al Sheeba camel and horse race tracks, where you can enjoy the sight of camels training. We then head along the skyscraper area of Sheikh Zayed Road, also referred to as little Manhattan, where we pass by the Emirates Towers and Dubai World Trade Centre. Then we drive along the Zabeel road, passing by the palace of Sheikh Mohammed, as well as the Sheikh Rashid palace, (no photography permitted). We now head towards the Dubai creek, where we will stop for photographs of the creek side. We pass by the Al Bastakiya's old-wind tower houses, which were built by the wealthy merchants of the past. Our next stop takes in the Dubai Museum. Established in 1970, the museum is housed inside the imposing 19th century Al Fahidi fort. The Al Fahidi Fort, was built around 1799, and once guarded the landward approaches to the town. Thought to be the city's oldest building, the fort was both the residence of Dubai's rulers and the seat of government until it was transformed into a museum in 1971. Return to your hotel to freshen up. In the late afternoon transfer to the port to board a dhow (a traditional Arab sailing vessel) for a sunset cruise and delicious feast of Arabian and Western dishes.
Day 3: Dubai (B & D)
After breakfast, continue the Dubai City tour by boarding an abra (water taxi) with your guide for a short ride to the Spice Souk and the famous Gold Souk. In the evening, an elegant dinner aboard the Bateaux Dubai, a floating restaurant on Dubai Creek.
Day 4: Dubai - Al Maha (B, L & D)
After a relaxing morning, a short drive to the luxury desert resort of Al Maha in the Arabian Desert, a luxury camp in a protected reserve. Al Maha takes its style from traditional Bedouin encampments but with state-of-the-art facilities. Relax in your private plunge pool, take a guided nature walk, explore local folkways on horseback and camelback or watch a falconry demonstration.
Day 5: Al Maha (B, L & D)
Day at leisure.
Day 6: Al Maha - Dubai (B)
After breakfast, return to Dubai city and your hotel. Free afternoon to go shopping in many of the exclusive shops in the centre or just relax on one of the many beautiful beaches.
Day 7: Dubai (B)
Free day at lesiure.
Day 8: Dubai (B)
Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
