Nile Cruise Tour

Day 1: Luxor - Nile Cruise - overnight at Luxor (L,D)
Upon arrival at Luxor airport, you will be met and taken to your Nile cruise to check in and have lunch. You will then be taken on an afternoon guided visit to the East Bank of the Thebes River, visiting the Karnak and Luxor Temples. You will then be transferred back to your Nile Cruise for dinner.

Day 2: Nile Cruise - overnight at Esna (B,L,D)
After a leisurely breakfast, this morning you will sail to Edfu via the Esna Lock. After enjoying lunch onboard the cruise, in the afternoon you will continue cruising. You will be treated to a sunset tea and later to dinner and entertainment.

Day 3: Nile Cruise - overnight at Aswan (B,L,D)
This morning you can take a guided visit to the Temple of Horus, the best preserved temple in Egypt, built in 236BC by Ptolemy III. After lunch, the cruise will sail to Kom Ombo and again this afternoon you can enjoy tea at sunset on the main deck. Tonight there will dinner followed by a Galabia party, after which you will commence sailing to Aswan.

Day 4: Nile Cruise - overnight at Aswan (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to visit the impressive Aswan High Dam, followed by a visit to granite quarries where you can view Egypt's only uncompleted obelisk. After a barbecue lunch onboard the cruise you can take a Felucca sailing trip on the Nile, passing by the Nilometer, Elephantine Island and the botanical gardens on Kitcheners Island. This evening you will be treated to dinner and a belly dancing show.

Day 5: Nile Cruise - overnight at Aswan (B,L,D)
Today is at your leisure to relax onboard your cruise or to join in one of the many optional activities on offer, such as a guided tour to Abu Simbel, a visit to a Nubian village or the sound and light show at the Philae Temple in the evening. All of your meals are included on the cruise boat.

Day 6: Nile Cruise - overnight at Edfu (B,L,D)
This morning you will sail to Kom Ombo where you can enjoy a guided visit to the beautiful Greco Roman Temple. After lunch you will continue sailing to Edfu where you can enjoy a sunset tea. This evening dinner will once more be aboard your cruise.

Day 7: Nile Cruise - overnight at Luxor (B,L,D)
After a leisurely breakfast, this morning you will sail to Esna, crossing the Esna Lock. After enjoying lunch onboard the cruise, in the afternoon you will continue cruising to Luxor. This evening you will be treated to a farewell dinner onboard your cruise boat.

Day 8: Nile Cruise - Luxor (B)
After breakfast, you will be taken on a morning guided tour to the West Bank of the River Nile to visit Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens "Hatshepsut's Temple" and the Colossi of Memnon. After the tour, you will be transferred to Luxor International airport. You will receive assistance through airport departure formalities before boarding your return flight home.
